If you know us, you know that writing this is one of the hardest things we have ever done. If you don't know us, we are a blended family of six that recently was subjected to the epic arrival of Harvey. We took on just less than a foot of water but it has proven enough to wreak havoc on our lives. We have spent the past five days in a hotel and are now with family waiting to move into a rental. The recovery process for this storm will not be short and we are now realizing that trying to find our new normal will be more stressful, emotionally and financially, than we initially anticipated. We know that so many have lost so much and that even more people have given so generously. So if you can help, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
