Support Mike's Recovery

My name is Michael Eikenberry and I honestly hate writing this because as my father so kindly reminded me, it’s begging. The truth is I experienced severe trauma as a child and have suffered from the after effects of that daily to catastrophic levels. Since I was  15 I’ve struggled with debilitating anxiety and have been supported by my friends, and ex-wife, and my mother in law. I was employed for some time, but my anxiety forced me out of the workplace.

My access to doctors has been interrupted by a move that caused my state insurance (Medi-Cal) to stop functioning until the transfer is complete.  Despite the move being in early November their slow system won't move my benefits until JANUARY.  As a result I've had to spend a lot of the previously earned donations to cover needs which should have been covered by the state.  I appreciate any assistance.

As it stands I am living homeless with the ability to occasionally sleep on couches.  I have a place to store my things and am given access to them during the day but because of lease laws cannot live here.  I have friends helping me find a more permanent solution and I hope to be able to contribute more than nothing, but at this time this is my only recourse.
