Hurricane Harvey The Curry Family

Many people ask how they can help in natural disasters such as Havey. The meals and temporary accommodations are wonderful but are only a bandaid on a problem that may be 6 months to a year in its entirety. My family is one of the untold thousand who lost most everything to this storm. We had no flood insurance (because our area had never flooded) nor did our HOA . The car we Iost only had liability so no help there as well Ultimately, the only financial aid we can rely on is our personal savings and the small percentage that is provided by FEMA. We have survived thus far with the help of family and friends, but as with all of the victim of this storm we are struggling with the financial aspects of things to come. I am unemployed and my wife is a teacher. We have a 12 year old daughter and 2 beagles... One of which needs daily medication. Our situation is better than some and worse than others however, a donation here will DEFINITELY go to help a family victim of this flood without the bureaucratic overhead. Any help you can provide will go to the continuation of paying our bills, relocation, rebuilding, and whatever other surprises that may be thrown our way. I feel guilty asking for help from strangers as I know this is a personal problem for us but I am asking for my family. Thank you
