Helping my mother

My mother's car broke down and it would cost more than the car is worth to fix it. She works 6 days a week & pays all of her bills on her own. She's is a very hard working and a very independent. But she will not ask for help. So, I'm trying to get enough to buy her a decent car unfortunately I do not have the funds to do so right now. As I have some financial problems  myself. As do alot of people at this moment. I hate that I have to ask also. but anything would help and be very much appreciated. Even if you can just share it.
