Paula Smith's Hurricane Recovery

This is our beloved sister and friend, Paula, her husband, Regi and beautiful daughter, Aree.Like many Houstonians, they suffered the wrath of Hurricane Harvey and were forced to leave their home by boat and seek refuge in a neighboring church. After the emergency evacuation, they were unable to pack any clothes or essentials and left only with their deeply rooted faith and their newly acquired pup, Lucky. Paula and her family were set to celebrate their one year anniversary as Texans having relocated from Chicago a year ago. Though their spirits remain strong, the future is full of unknowns. They are uncertain of where they will reside and how they will navigate without transportation. Their vehicle was also ravaged by the flood. Rebuilding their lives and restoring normalcy is a long road ahead.
