My name is Donald Santos. I've been in a rehab hospital waiting for a total hip replacement of my left hip.

I've been here since April waiting for the operation. On February 6th, I was informed last month I would have to start paying $614.00 a month or I would receive 30 days' notice to vacate the facility whether I've had the operation or not. The problem is I can no longer walk or stand and spend my time between the bed and wheelchair. They need a Hoya lift to pick me up to move me. I can no longer take myself outside, so I have to wait for someone to visit to take me out. All I want to do is walk again. Insurance pays all the medical but not to stay here doesn't make sense
