Helping The Durlam's Rebuild

Hello Friends and Family, On August 28th we had to be evacuated from our home due to the rising waters in our neighborhood due to Hurricane Harvey. We had to leave our dogs behind and only take a backpack full of clothes and necessities for myself, Hugh, and my two young children. We were rescued by our church family by boat and taken to a friends house. The next morning Hugh went back for our dogs... the National Guard would not let him in alone ... they took him in by boat and that's when he was able to capture this picture of our house... we have about 3-4feet of water. We did not have flood insurance (not many of us did.. due to fact that we do not live in a flood zone). We have lost both cars, our house, and items in the house. The water is still high in our neighborhood due to the bayou water cresting. They are saying that we will not be able to get into our homes to asses the damage until mid September... that means the mold will be horrible in our home!! My family and I believe in a Great God. HE has rescued us and has shown HIS love through others generosity. We are alive and well. We will be renting a house close to where I work. Friends have encouraged me to start this GoFundMe page.
