Please Help Us Avoid Eviction

It is really hard for us to ask anyone to donate money, so I apologize in advance. Tom and I are currently facing eviction, and owe almost $2000 in past due rent and fees. Earlier this year, my identity was stolen and someone fraudulently filed taxes in my name. In addition, Tom was laid off for awhile so money has been very tight. We are still waiting on a refund from the IRS, but will not have it by Tues, Sept 5th. This is the date we must go to court to finalize eviction. Again, we REALLY hate asking for help with this, especially for so much money. But we are desperate at this point to keep a roof over our heads, and any help you or someone you know can provide would be appreciated beyond words. Thank you for reading this, Jim and Tom
