Do it 4 Chole!

Perseverance, strong-will and bravery can be used interchangeably to describe my sister. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded with an individual who has shared and taught me more about faith than any life experience I can offer. The best magical part about this is that she’s my younger sister by 2 years, in which is a lifetime of differences between most siblings.

For the past 9 years I’ve stood side by side by my sister as she’s continuously fought various medical conditions that include but not limited to thyroid infections, diabetes, obesity and various others. The most life changing news she ever received was three years ago. She was informed that the one wish in life that ultimately empowers a girl to become a woman would not be granted to her. Her dreams of ever giving birth to a baby were crushed. As a result, my sister became depressed for some time and put her efforts towards working long hours to take her mind away from this pain. Although, most hope was lost she continued to pray and have faith that one day her situation would change.

In October of 2014 my sister found out just how strong her faith was. By nothing less than a miracle her doctor told her she was pregnant during a routine check up. At this point the stars, sun and moon were finally in alignment. Just as she is, I’m excited to meet my niece Chloe in a few months. However, we’ve run into some complications recently.

My sister doesn’t have any paid days from work left due to much needed doctor visits. Furthermore, she was advised by the doctors that she shouldn’t attend work anymore until the baby is born due to her total commute of 3 hours per day. Prior to this, my sister had to overcome many challenges at work because her employer denied most requests for her to see a specialist.

 Needless to say, she is now caught in a huge financial set back. This is why I need your support. From now until July my sister will not have any means of income to support herself, baby and medical needs. I’ve created this campaign without her knowledge to help alleviate the burden that has just been placed on her shoulders. I understand well enough that I can never match her faith but I’m hoping I can contribute to it in someway. Unfortunately, I can’t do it by myself and I need your help. I want her for once to put down the boxing gloves and allow me to help her fight this fight. With your donation this will help my sister pay for medical expenses, travel expense to and from appointments, food and car payments. A soon to be healthy baby girl by the name of Chloe will be excited to meet you for what you’ve done for her and more importantly her mother.
