Medical Mission - Personal Project

Hello,
My name is Noah and I am writing to you with the hope that you may be inspired to help me fulfill my dream of a volunteering on a medical mission.
You see I am sophomore in high school. As a student in year 10 in my school I am required to spend the year working on a "personal project". The purpose of the personal project is to explore in depth something we feel passionate about, something that will challenge us to grow both academically and emotionally. (I know cool: right?! I am lucky to have an amazing school!) I have decided on a rather huge project, a medical mission "“ I came to this decision after much thought, with the understanding that there will be many challenges along the way:. One of which is the funding to complete this project. Currently I am at the beginning stages of my project, spending time researching different opportunities. Thus far I am looking at placements in India, Haiti, and Cameroon. I am very excited about this project!
The photo that I have uploaded is of my family and me working in an orphanage in Mongolia in 2010. This trip played in big part in deciding my personal project. While we were in Mongolia we worked in a Ger (Mongolian for Yurt) camp where the orphanage was located during the summer months. The experience changed everything for me. It truly opened my eyes to the world.
I would really appreciate any help you could offer in assisting me to reach my goal of volunteering on a medical mission. Even a dollar can help.
