Hi everyone,
This disease has hit Hannah at a very vulnerable time. She just finished up her undergraduate studies at NYU, and is just getting traction in her job search.
Our fiercely independent Hannah is supporting herself in NYC by providing social media and marketing services to some music-related non-profit organizations and by waiting tables at Lavagna (a lovely restaurant in the East Village in NYC where they have treated Hannah like family), but she is stressed about her ability to live her life on her own terms once the chemo makes that an impossibility.
If you're in a position to help, a few dollars would go a long way to helping her maintain her independence and a sense of control as she stays in NYC for the next 60 days or so (after that, she will come back to Chicago to complete her treatments).
