I have had the great fortune to call the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley home for 23 years. I have raised two wonderful children here and worked as a full time professional photographer engaging with many residents, local businesses as well as preserving the history of the cities and surrounding areas through my profession. I have been involved in a variety of ways with the community by volunteering for events, festivals, fundraisers, boards, and commissions for the last nine years. I created the annual Heart of the Valley event to bond and bring the community together.
As Mayor, I plan to be very visible and approachable to hear your concerns and needs. Communication is a primary focus as we go into a period of changes. You will see me out meeting as many of the people within the city limits as I possibly can before the general election this November. This is exactly how I hope to interact with the community in the area I love so much.
As a surge in growth is imminent, my position is that we must work to improve the infrastructure, the very basic and crucial framework of our city foundation which includes transportation, sewage, water, energy and communication. I support controlled and well-managed growth.
