Susan Mutua boarding school fund

0Living Positive Mlolongo (registered charity number 171537) currently needs urgent funds to help a child in our community near Nairobi, Kenya.

Living Positive is an NGO which works with families in the slums near Nairobi who are HIV+, giving them medical care, counseling and teaching them income generating skills.

Recently we discovered that one of the little girls we work with, Susan, is being sexually abused by her own father. Susan is only 5 years old. Her mother passed away from AIDS earlier this year. Her father got reported and sent to the police, but as he has connections within the police force, no further action will be taken.

We urgently need to remove Susan from her home and her abusive father, and the best way to do this is to send her to boarding school which costs $750 per year.

We are currently fundraising for three years of schooling and security for Susan.
