When All Else is Lost Faith Remains

Today, August 28th, I dedicated my time to driving around trying to pull people out of the disasters caused by Hurricane Harvey. I knew of the damages and how severe they were from different posts and news outlets, but it wasn't until I was driving around that I gained a deeper, emotional attitude about what happened. As a Houstonian I am deeply remorseful that people have to go through this, AND MORESO, as a human being I hate that people have to suffer like this. I know I can't fix the situation but I do know that I can do my part to help bandage some of the bruises. This is my first ever gofund me account, largely due to the fact that I don't like asking people for aide. I bring this fund forward because I want to be as transparent with this situation as I can. I want people to donate and see EXACTLY where their money is going. I don't think people understand the emotions behind some of the things lost. Within these houses, within these communities, within these families are family stories and values that cannot be restored. Whatever the families that we can help feel they need we will try our best to make it happen. Be the change you want to be and don't just pray about it. We are all one. ALL donations really do help, it can be as generous as a penny, it all adds up. Please share and donate what you can comfortably donate. This isn't a contest to see who donates the most or what not it's an avenue to bless others and show that we truly can come together and uplift one another.
