This is my beautiful grandson Zander. He is 7months old and has a twin sister. Zander developed a disorder known as Torticollis and Plagiocephaly. This was a result of being a twin and believed to have begun while in the woumb do to positioning. Zander has been making great progress with physical therapy to address the Torticollis however it is now time to address the Plagiocephaly which means he will be required to be fitted for a special helmet that will assist in shaping that beautiful bead. Having stated this we are asking for assistance for Zander and his family. Zander's family are a single income household and the insurance will not cover the helmet, which his therapist deems necessary. I am reaching out to you and challenging to please find it into your heart to help not only shape Zander's head but to also help shape the life of those whom love him. By helping Zander's parents with the purchase of this special helmet it will allow them to focus on other existing medical expenses not to mention the daily living expenses of being new parents of twins. The sooner we raise this money the sooner we can move to have Zander fitted and begin the regiment needed. Doctors indicate that this is the best time to address this issue due to development of the skull and tissues associated with its development.
