Hi my name is katie and I am raising funds for my beautiful cat Prince. I suspect prince is a Turkish angora he’s a beautiful big fluffy cuddle monster in the last 2 years he began over grooming it started with just his paws and snowballed out of control he now continuously has scabs and wounds from his face to his tail and has had a cone on his head for almost 2 years. I have tried everything to help prince he has been to two different vets and we still have no reason for it they have suggested a skin specialist but the starting rate just for a consultation (so no tests or medication ) is £500 unfortunately my finances cannot cover this I am now unfortunately having to consider princes quality of life and how much pain he must be in to cause these laceration. Ideally I would like to try and raise the funds to get him the help he needs as my only other option is one every owner dreads I have looked at all the options I can and just feel like I want to give him that fighting chance and to know that I did everything I could before I have to make a heartbreaking decision if you can even spare £1 it could bring me closer to getting prince the treatment he desperately needs and the tests that could explain everything to us he is only 7years old he shouldn’t have to leave us so young

vets are looking to refer prince to a specialist called paragon based in Wakefield for an initial consultation it’s £500 any tests and treatments will be priced up once we’ve had the consultation and I’m happy to provide proof of billing tests etc
