The Dave and Daisy Fund

Two years ago I moved to Bristol. A couple of weeks later whilst walking to work I passed a homeless guy with his dog sitting by the bus stop. I passed him almost daily and started giving some change, some food and saying hi. We gradually became friends and I worried greatly if I didn't see them for a couple of days. He moved away from London after the breakup of his very long term relationship with a broken heart, and nothing to his name but the clothes on his back and his beloved Daisy. Two years on and they are still without a home and have had to cope with dire weather conditions, being attacked, having possessions stolen and the general apathy of public and government alike! Fortunately I have the best friends on the planet and they have helped me to help Dave and Daisy as much as possible with clothing, nights in a hostel and food. And here - at last is the donations page I have been hounded for If you wish to donate I know that Dave and Daisy will be incredibly grateful and truly humbled, as will I. Many many thanks to those who already have helped, those who continue to do so and those of you I know wish to in the future. The proceeds will be given to Dave as and when he needs money be it for whatever is most important to him at the time - shelter, food or clothing. Much love Rosie xx
