Assistance For Bernard Berger

Dear Friends, one of the most difficult things in life is to ask for help. Our brother, brother-in-law, cousin, friend, however you may know him, Bernard (Beru) Berger needs some help. Beru suffered a serious stroke and was diagnosed with stage IV multiple myeloma two and a half years ago. The stroke effected his speech and mobility. Despite the devastating prognosis, we all saw how incredibly determined Beru can be! He fought back with his usual positivity and trademark sense of humor and made great strides. Unfortunately, he has recently suffered a serious setback and is back in the hospital. Once again, he has had multiple blood transfusions, as well as other treatments, but it is an uphill battle ahead. In an effort to ease the pressure on the family, we are looking to family and friends for support. First, we ask for your prayers (Yisrael Dov ben Fradu) at this difficult time in our lives. Additionally, we are hoping to lessen the financial burden, and are looking for donations. Any amount you can donate towards past medical bills, upcoming treatments and daily living expenses would be greatly appreciated.
