Malawi Bound to Provide Scholarships!

If you are reading this message you have either touched my life, someone close to me, or we share the same goals of improving health and education internationally.
This past year I became involved with the Daughters of Toleza Scholarship Fund (DTS) as an acting Board Member and have been provided with the incredible opportunity to travel to Malawi and tour Bahkita Secondary School this July. While I am there I will meet the girls that DTS provided scholarships to for the past years and have the opportunity to interview for the next scholarship and present it to the grantee at their annual sporting event this August 2nd.
Over the last year and a half I have been volunteering my time and donating money to two boards and two committees that represent causes that are important to me. These commitments have brought me life changing experiences and self-fulfillment without the financial benefits.
Unfortunately, the expenses that go along with this trip are substantial and I cannot afford it alone...
My goal is to raise $2,500, with your help. This will cover a portion of the airfare, ground transportation, and accommodations. I will be covering my personal expenses and a portion of the expected and unexpected travel costs.
It is my hope that you will be a part of my experience through your generosity, whether it's $20.00 or $50.00. All your contributions will have an incredible impact on bringing this opportunity to reality!
