Trip to Annual Meeting Nov 23-26

I have the exciting opportunity to attend the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Religions and Society for Biblical Literature November 23-26. By attending, I will be networking with scholars in my field of study. This will help me get into an excellent PhD program, which will in turn facilitate my dream and calling of opening an interfaith center focused on sexuality and gender.

I need your help to get there. While I've already covered the student membership in the SBL of $60, I need help covering the rest of the costs of attending such an event. I estimate travel costs at $450, lodging at about $450, and event registration at $160. This comes out to $1060; I'm adding extra onto that for things such as taxes, baggage costs, and food.
