Son-Rise Intensive for Nathan's autism

Donation protected
Be a part of Nathan's miracle! Doctors say that autism is a lifelong learning and social disability. However, we have witnessed that The Son-Rise Program can literally pull a child out of autism! Son-Rise is a home-based therapy with the attitudinal cornerstones of love and acceptance. Parents, like us, receive Son-Rise training at the Autism Treatment Center of America in the US.

Before we found the Son-Rise Program, our 5-year-old, Nathan, had no eye-contact, no intentional speech, was very withdrawn and oblivious to the people around him including his father. He would put things in his mouth all the time and had many repetitive, autistic behaviors. It has been almost 2 years of conducting our home-based Son-Rise Program, Now, 7-year-old Nathan, has very strong eye-contact, he can express what he wants and is starting to share his thoughts, he craves our attention and enjoys playing in his Son-Rise room with his parents and Son-Rise Volunteers. Now, whenever Nathan sees his father, Nathan asks to be carried, play music, and dance! It's the connection we could only have dreamt of before Son-Rise. We have a long way to go for complete recovery but we are certainly on the right track!

Our next big challenge is to get Nathan, himself, to the Autism Treatment Center of America so that Son-Rise Professionals can do play therapy with him and encourage more growth. More importantly, this Son-Rise Intensive course will teach us, parents, so that we could bring home a wealth of experience. We can then continue to conduct our home program optimally until Nathan will not only participate but also greatly contribute his God-given talents to society:and I know that day will come!

This Son-Rise Intensive alone will cost US$18,400 not including our family airfare from Singapore to the US.
