Jodi's Surgery Fund

I need to have surgery to remove my gall bladder, urgently. There are stones in there that can create infection or blockage, and they're multiplying.  It's very painful with these sharp, pesky little bastards in there. Every day I wait is very risky. When/if the worst happens (infection or blockage) it happens quick and things go South in a big hurry. The financial impact is far less if I schedule the surgery rather than having it done via the emergency room.

I am still searching for a new job and continue to be without health insurance. I am unable to afford the monthly Cobra payment on unemployment benefits as my sole source of income.

I'm asking for donations to pay my Cobra payments in arrears. That, and to cover my deductible and coinsurance. Then, I'll be good to go and can do this the right way, scheduled rather than emergent.
