Heart surgery/Gap In Pay

I am off work due to my recovery from open heart surgery. Today I received my first check since my surgery and found out it was less than half what I normally earn. Due to some auto pay bills our account is already negative.



We tried to do some grocery shopping early and pick up some essential items it was at that time we found out our card was declined. At the moment we have no food in the house . I am proud and it has taken a lot for me to go this route but I don't know what else to do. I found out today I won't see any short term disability for 2 more weeks and that check won't cover the rent. My family and I are at our wits end .
