Help Kids use the Arts to Teach History

Donation protected
All Things Artistic Ministries Inc. has created a project for youth to educate the community about African American History In Washtenaw County Michigan. We will do this by using the arts to dramatics and reenact historical events.

We will educate and train children and youth in history, dance, drama, vocal and instrumental music, oral interpretation, and character development beginning in February 2014. They in turn will educate the community about the dynamic makers of Washtenaw County history. Two performances are tentatively planned for May, 2014.

We will feature, Professor Jon Lockard, a prolific artist, educator and scholar, the French Dukes a youth precision drill team from Ann Arbor and Dr. Willis Patterson, Professor Emeritus of music and founder of Our Own Thing Chorale.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December 23, 2013 to cover van transportation for participants, materials, snacks, props, costumes, and a gas stipend for instructors, publicity, space rental, and more.

We have several donation levels, but you we welcome contributions of every size.

Thank you for your donation and blessings to you!
