Jordan Douglas Royer Memorial Fund

Donation protected

Our youngest son Jordan Douglas Royer was killed in a traffic accident on the morning of September 13th, 2013. He was on his way home to be with his family.

He was one of the hardest working men we knew, he had been burning both ends of the candle, and was coming home to see family and celebrate his birthday this Sunday, September 15th he would have been 26 years old. He was also to participate in an arm wrestling competition this Saturday along side his brother Justin.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. he fell asleep at the wheel. His truck crossed over the center line, hit an 18 wheeler head on and then burst into flames. He died immediately upon impact. We are thankful that our son died in his sleep. He did not see it coming and he felt no pain. We are also thankful that the driver of the 18 wheeler was not seriously injured and was released from the hospital within 24 hours.

Needless to say, part of us has died today. We will forever miss his humor, his cheesy smile, his ability to make everyone laugh, but most of all, we will miss our son.

Those of you that knew Jordan, know just we what we mean. Jordan was born on his father's birthday, September 15th. His birthdays will never be the same. Our world is a little less right now, but we are so thankful to have had Jordan as our son for the time the Good Lord allowed.

The reason we are setting this up is to raise money to help the family Jordan left behind. Jordan adored his family, they were the inspiration that kept him going. He was trying so hard to provide all that he could for them. Jordan was the sole provider for his family and now he is gone.

Jordan's family, Sara and their two children, Luke age 2 and baby Emma, just 3 months old, will be in great need of financial help in the up coming months without Jordan there to provide for them.

We and Jordan's entire family are asking that in lieu of flowers or gifts that a donation be made to this site. Every last cent of the money raised will be given to help Jordan's family.

Please find it in your heart to remember Jordan fondly by helping out the family he has left behind.

We ask that everyone who sees this, share it. They will be needing all the help they can get.

With much love and deep gratitude we thank all of you.

PS. This site request that we put in a goal amount. The $100,000 is a only a random number it is not representative of any amount of money we are hoping to raise for Jordan's family. We just ask, that if you can, to help in anyway you can, for any amount would be appreciated.
