Sophie Grace-23wk Delivery

After a few stressful days Sophie Grace was born. Her parents Scott and Shannon Vanden Broek, are so happy with her arrival - albeit she came a couple months earlier than hoped for! Sophie was immediately transferred to NICU in WellStar Kennestone Hospital where she will spend the next couple months under continued care. Our prayer and hope is that she may be spared in the early stages of her life. This fund is to help enable her parents to spend the much needed time with her in these first few days and weeks. There is a certain amount of financial stress in a situation like this! Scott does want to mention that they are not out "asking or looking" for help, but can not deny the financial pressure that this has laid on their young family. Since there has been some interest from friends and family to aid them, we thought it would be beneficial to set up a safe place to donate. They do have a certain amount of funds available to help cover medical expenses. At this time it is unknown whether that will be sufficient or not. For the time being the funds acquired through this go fund me account are to help the family in this tough time, and put towards any medical expenses that may not be covered for baby Sophie and mother Shannon.
