Destiny's Battle With Brain Cancer

Destiny is one of the most resilient children you will ever meet. After spending numerous years in foster care, Destiny and her younger sister, Alyssa, were adopted by Sara and Adam Edwards on December 22, 2016. In August 2017, after vision issues and headaches, Destiny was admitted to All Children's Hospital where she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor has wrapped itself around Destiny's brain stem and therefore surgery is not an option. She will begin six weeks of radiation, Monday through Friday, in the hopes of shrinking the tumor. We want Adam and Sara to have their time and energy spent making memories with Destiny and not spent worrying about finances. During this time, they both will likely be taking extended time off from work to transport Destiny to her appointments in Tampa.
