Roxannes Cancer Treatment Fund

Hi World,
We are the Graham family. Our oldest daughter Roxanne was diagnoses with synovial sarcoma cancer. Now synovial sarcoma is a very rare type of cancer that only 2 in ever 100,000 people a year get. So there is not as much information on how to cure the cancer or fight.
Last September was when they diagnosed the large tumor (size 7cm-9cm) in her thigh as synovial sarcoma. The tumor was removed in early October. After the removal she recover fast :) was back out side about 2 weeks after. But in late October we had to start taking a 1hr train everyday 5 days week to go to a different facility to get high dosage proton radiation therapy.
When this finally end in January we had gone throw alot. just moving back over to Scotland weeks before she was diagnosed she had not made to many friends. So she didn't really have any one to talk to or help her on a friend level to get throw it all. She also missed out on the fun events at school over the holidays.
Now despite missing so much school early on in the year she come back and fully fulfilled the requirements for the  grad and is heard of her house ( class president ) and a prefect ( student tutor) she was and is looking for word to the year.
now on August 15th  2 weeks before school starts they call and say that in her x-ray of her lungs they thing their maybe tumors. my heart sank i literally fell to the floor. i got up and said to the doctor on the phone well what do we do to find out for sure. they said she needed a  CT scan. we came in on the fallowing Thursday the 17th and had the scan. on Friday they called back and said that it looked bad and that there where multiple 1cm-2cm tumor and that they need to do a biopsy and want to start her on chemotherapy. when she said that i asked why chemo? ( now after doing a lot of research of my own from last October i know that synovial sarcoma is a soft tissue cancer and it it's not a blood cancer so chemo dos not really to much but slow down the growth proses) they said we know the chemo dos not always work with this kind of cancer but we are going to do it any way. thats when i said NO i would like to find another opinion and start her on so life style changes and vitamins and supplements that we feel can help support her not kill every fight cell in her body.
NOW stu and my self and our families have done a lot of research about this and have decided the chemo is not he right path for Roxanne. By making this decision we need to get her to other clinics that are in Mexico and England and there is even one in Spain.  The medications and the vitamins to support her liver and immune system coast can build up fast. We need all the help we can get so this can be a happy ending.
After doing so much research and still doing research and just trying to make the right choices for her. We know that the way to fight this can only be accomplished  with your help and donations. The donations are the only way we can help our baby get the right help.

thank you very much
