Help For Celeste

On August 19th Celeste Draper (Billy's Mom) lost everything in a house fire. Although she is suffering from a great deal of trauma, she was physically unharmed and is safe. As a pet owner, it's hard to even type this but her two beloved dogs perished in the fire. She also lost her vehicle which was the source of her livelihood.

Needless to say that whatever this fund accomplishes, it will never replace the loss of her precious fur family and photo collections, it is at least a way to help give her the footing to rebuild—a little bit of security amid chaos.

Those of us who grew up with Billy know Celeste as a second Mom. She was always there for no-BS advice as we began navigating into adulthood and she would do anything in the world to help us out if we needed it. She was nonjudgmental, warm and wise when we needed to talk. Now she needs just a little help from us to get back on her feet.

I'm certain the love and support she feels and receives in this moment will prove all is not lost, and will help her on the road to recovering a sense of normalcy in her life. On behalf of my 2nd mom (although she's probably mad at me for doing this!), thank you in advance for any donation you provide.  Even reaching out to her to talk and let her know you're thinking of her would mean a lot.
