Help Phil Fight Cancer!

Donation protected
There is not a single person who lives in downtown Covington that can say they have never met Phil Riley. To many, myself included, he was simply known as "The Gyro Guy," because of his presence behind The Green Room every weekend. He stood out there, Friday and Saturday nights feeding the masses delicious food at a fraction of what he could have. That's the same philosophy he maintained within the home-base of his sandwich-making operations; Baba Ghanoush. The small, shotgun-house made-restaurant sits on Jefferson Ave, and I can say with great confidence that it is the culmintation of Phil's life's work.  In July, Phil was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer, which requires both radiation treatmants and chemotherapy. As many well know, the coming months are going to be a constant battle for Phil, and because of this, he had to make the devastating choice to close his restaurant. I have never in my life met another person so willing to help others and ask nothing in return. Even now, when his circumstances could not be more dire, still he refuses to ask anyone for help. So instead, those who love him most are asking you all for any support you could possibly lend. Help keep the dream alive.
