Donations for Dana

Hi, my name is Tabatha. I'm the owner of 640 Massage Therapies in Westbrook.

Dana came to work at 640 in November of 2020. She quickly became an integral part of the team, always eager to learn and try new techniques, constantly wanting to help her clients. Dana also has become a close friend over the last year; our shared love of the human body, astrology, good food & music made a friendship impossible to prevent. When she found a lump in her breast in December, she shared how scared she was it could be something more and immediately got an appointment with her doctor. On January 28th, her gut feeling was confirmed with a Stage 2 Breast Cancer diagnosis. Dana has approached her diagnosis with such a humbling attitude, allowing the fear to surface for herself, her family and her 4-year-old daughter, taking control where she can, and getting advice from her medical doctors, family and friends. She is using everything in her arsenal.

She began her chemotherapy on February 23rd (which also happened to be her husband Dave's birthday). Dana's last day of work at 640 was February 18th. Cancer treatment is fluid and can change depending on how her specific cancer responds, it is estimated that she will be out of work until August.

I am asking for Donations for Dana to help with living expenses. Fortunately, Dana and Dave have fantastic health insurance; however, the necessities of everyday life don't stop for cancer. Any donations will help alleviate the stresses for this tremendous family while Dana is going through treatment & recovery.
