Featherstone Family Fund

On Sunday, September 1, 2013, Keith Featherstone suffered a massive seizure, complicated by cardiac arrest. His quick-thinking, brave son, Ted, put his scout skills to work and revived his father. Keith was transported to the nearby trauma center where medical professionals worked hard to save him. In the end, Keith's body and brain had just suffered too much damage. Yesterday, the family faced the agonizing decision of whether to keep Keith on life support. Knowing Keith's heart, the family honored his wishes and discontinued his life support. Keith passed away at 5:30 on Tuesday, September 10^th 2013.

Keith leaves behind his wife, Michelle, and their three wonderful sons. Keith was the primary breadwinner for the family, and he also handled all of the family's administrative and financial affairs. It will take time for Michelle to sort out all of these details and time for existing accounts to be released into her custody. The family is facing not only the uncertainty of day-to-day living, but also, funeral costs and the costs of Keith's final medical costs.
