2nd Chances Do Exist

On August 14th 2017 at 9:26am,  my brother was a victim to gun violence while he was riding his bike to work.  He was shot a total of 6 times. The car load of boys that shot him have not been identified arrested or put in jail. However, they didn't get away with his life. A Good samaritan stopped to wrap his arm to stop some of the bleeding. Had he not of helped, I'm sure he would have bled out. He said everyone was afraid to call for help or were just in shock that they were witnessing him laying there with so much gore and gun wounds. Thankfully my Mom got the phone call from a woman who was a bystander. My son rushed to his aide. When my brother heard his nephew screaming his name, that quickly gave my brother the strength to hold on. He pulled himself back to stay awake, his 4 children came to mind which in turn gave him that strength as well. He knows he can't let go he has so many that love and cherish him. Dear family, friends, and acquaintances. If ever you have had a tragedy like this so horrific. Or even if you have not experienced something like this in your life. Just please I beg of you keep my brother in your prayers and thoughts today. He has multiple surgeries to be done. They say he may never walk again that he may be a paraplegic. My brother and his wife were working full time. Now he cant work and she has to help him recover and care for their children on her own. This family of 6 will now only survive on one income that may now turn from full time to part time. I believe in big and small miracles. I believe with every tragedy there comes some kind of peace to follow the steps to a new beginnings. I lost one brother already. Our tripod became only two, me and him. I will never give up on you brother! His family, his lovely wife and children are very thankful to have him here and know that he is strong. Thank you for your time everyone and your generosity.
