Bob Damrow

This is the family of Bob Damrow, and we are opening a Go Fund Me account for Bob to assist him with medical bills he is accumulating daily. Here is Bob’s story: On Friday July 28th Bob drove himself to the hospital at 6am because he was ill. He had felt ill all week and was unable to eat or drink. Upon arrival to the ER he was found to be severely dehydrated and had gallbladder pancreatitis. His pancreatitis was severe, causing compartment syndrome of the abdomen. Bob was then transferred to a hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Since his admission (this is day # 17) he has been in the operating room six times and required many other radiological procedures. To date, we are unsure how long he will remain in the ICU. His GI track is still not waking up and his abdomen is not entirely closed. Bob will probably be off of work for as long as three months. Prior to this event he had just returned to work after a major knee surgery kept him out of work for months. Bob is single, so he is his only source of income. He’s looking at a long road with the need for physical and occupational therapy. We are all praying for his recovery everyday; but he is not out of the woods yet. We are unsure of what his medical bills will amount to, but as you can imagine, it will be daunting. Bob will also need help with his mortgage, monthly bills, etc. Bob enjoys riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friends and family, and he’s awesome to be around. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Bob is very independent, so we are not sure how he will feel about our efforts to raise him money, but he is in need of help from anyone willing to assist.
