Addy's Angels

"Addy's Angels" was created to give children, who have been displaced from their homes, HOPE and COMFORT in a time of utter loss and despair. It is our goal to wipe out the stigma that Foster Children carry when arriving into care and all of their worldly possessions are carried in a garbage bag. We want to provide EVERY child in Foster Care in Oneida County with their own suitcase or duffel bags (to carry their possessions with dignity), a comfy blanket (to wrap them in comfort and warmth ), a stuffed animal (to hold and love that noone can take away) and toiletries, (such as a toothbrush, a brush or comb, deodorant and/or soap), as so many of these kids have been neglected for so long that they don't even possess these common things. Eventually we would like to encourage folks to "adopt and child for Christmas"... which would not be an actual adoption, but granting a child in care a "real" Christmas Wish by donating a Christmas present that "said child" actually asked for but could NEVER dream of recieving. We are "Addy's Angels" and we intend to make a difference in OUR children's lives. THANK YOU!!!
