On August 26, 2013 our 16 month old son, Chase was diagnosed with nephroblastoma or Wilms' tumor. Wilms' is a cancer of the kidneys that typically occurs in children, rarely in adults. Two days after Chase was diagnosed he had both the tumor and his left kidney removed. He also underwent a separate operation the following week to insert a chemo port into his chest so that he could begin chemo and radiation treatments. Despite spending two weeks in the hospital, having two operations and starting chemo and radiation treatments, Chase continues to light up the world daily with his smile.
This page was created in response to the numerous calls/text and emails that we received from people asking how they can help. All donations will be used towards Chase's medical expenses not covered by insurance and his medications. No donation is too small. Continue to keep our family lifted in prayer as we continue to fight this ongoing battle.
