Support David's Glioblastoma Fight!

Donation protected
A little over a year ago David was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. It is a very aggressive cancer, and grows very fast. The good thing about glioblastoma is that it very rarely spreads to other parts of the body, but the bad thing is that it takes over the brain. One of the most important organs of the body. He had his first brain surgery to remove as much tumor as they could. He went through radiation treatments, and chemo. Everything went amazingly well! In a very short amount of time he was back to work, and back to himself. A year later the tumor had returned along with two additional tumors. He was told he would undergo surgery again, and be back to work in no longer than a week. This wasn't the case. He went through two more brain surgeries and ten treatments of radiation. Since those surgeries he has been in and out of the hospital due to complications. Fluid has built up on the brain. They did surgery and placed a shunt into the brain that would drain down to his stomach, it didn't work. The next day he had an emergency surgery to fix it. At this point the shunt is working but not good enough. They manually drained 30cc of fluid off the brain this past week and things worsened. Over the past months he is now legally blind in his left eye, and his left side doesn't function like it should. He can no longer work, drive, or do everyday things alone like he used too. He is confused. He thinks he lives in Tulsa, and apparently he travels from Tulsa to Oklahoma City like three times in one day. He has medically retired, but it hasn't been processed yet. They have signed up for Social Security, he has been approved BUT you must be off work for five months before this begins to pay. They have also submitted a claim to the VA, but this has been a year and they are still "processing a final decision." Sandra (his wife) has taken off a lot of work so she can take care of him, but you can only take off so much before your company gets upset. That's just anywhere. I don't want them to be worried financially right now when David should be the only priority. SO. With that being said, I am starting this go fund me page to try to help them financially. I am Jessica's sister in law. I would like to see all of us come together and each of us give just a little to help this family financially during this difficult time, if you can not donate, please at least pass it along. Thank you! Please pray for David and his Family!
