This year Back to School Free backpacks and Haircuts Giveaway held on August 6, 2017, located at Legacy Kutz at 3425 Centerville Hwy Suite 3B, Snellville GA, 30039 was a success. Thank you to all that showed up to the event and everyone that shared this story on social media. A special thanks goes out to Fox News and their affiliates at Fox and Friends and the Gwinnett County Police Department for doing their part and spreading the word across their respected platforms. I am truly humbled and grateful.
SQUAD is a Non-profit Organization that promotes reaching back and uplifting the people in your communities.
This year I provided 327 backpacks filled with school supplies along with haircuts for the children and their families of Gwinnett County. I acquired necessary funds and resources by working part time jobs. Sometimes when you start a movement you have to start walking alone so others can take you serious and follow. I challenge people to be the change they would want to see in the world. Don't just preach it, live it.
Our goal at SQUAD is to reach as many children and their families and provide them with the resources to compete and become successful members of society. Your contribution would go towards ensuring we could continue providing events and resources for years to come.
