Brian's Medical Fund

Brian's story is best told by the person that knows him better than anyone else...his wife. So here it goes:

"I remember it like it was yesterday, the day I met my husband. Through mutual friends, we were introduced at a small get together. He was a sarcastic, smart mouthed ‘bad boy’ and I was a witty, independent, huge hearted healer. He wasn’t really a bad boy you see, he was just broken. Many people are unaware that he tragically lost his daughter when she was just two and a half years old and spiraled out of control. I have to believe that we were always meant to be, as this is the first time I stood by his side and watched him make a miraculous turnaround with his life. Fast forward to many years later and we now share two gorgeous children together, and yep, you guessed it, our last was a sweet, sweet baby girl. All seemed to be right with the world. And then, out of nowhere, we got the most shocking news ever. My completely happy, healthy husband was diagnosed with an aggressive stage III colon cancer. He underwent urgent surgery to remove a large mass that had nearly completely obstructed his colon and had attached to his bladder. He has recovered from surgery and has recently begun his next journey through a very aggressive chemotherapy regimen that will last a minimum of six months. So here I find myself standing at his side yet again, watching, waiting, praying for another miraculous turnaround. You see the difference is, I am not standing alone this time. We truly cannot thank you all enough for all of the continued thoughts, prayers, love and support. We truly could NOT do this without you. " -Amy

Since his diagnosis, even with the help of health insurance, his medical bills and other costs have been and are still accumulating. Secondary to Brian's illness and treatment, he is unable to work and Amy is continuing to be the sole provider of their family of six. Brian and Amy are two of the most genuine and caring people you would ever meet. During this difficult and stressful time, it is my goal to help them financially in any way possible. This will allow them to concentrate on the most important part of all of this...getting Brian better.

In this unfortunate phase of Brian's life, we are reaching out for any help we can give him and his family. We appreciate any amount you are able to donate in helping him in this battle against cancer. Please keep him in your prayers and help us spread the word.

Thank you for taking the time to read this campaign.
