Bring "Coyote" Back Home

Today at approximately 11 AM, I received information about my son Shawn aka "Coyote".
Coyote had left home and was following his band, "The Grateful Dead". At some point on June 20, 1993, a John Doe was reported in Lake Michigan deceased. John Doe had drowned.
After many years trying to make a missing person report, I found Sheriff Joe Maes willing to take me seriously. Officer Maes filed the report.
It took several years to find out the John Doe found in Lake Michigan was my son Coyote.
Not knowing the identity of the person found in Lake Michigan that day, the state of Illinois buried "Coyote" on December 7, 1994, as John Doe.
Coyote has family and he had friends here. It is my intention to go to Illinois and bring him home. I have little in the way of funds. I am hoping to raise enough funds to have his body exhumed and flown home to San Diego so Coyote can be buried here among family. I would be very grateful to be able to accompany his journey.
I will ask his sister Elizabeth be the care taker of the funds for his final expenses.
I read what this process was and what the expenses were going to be. In speaking with the cemetery director, this may actually happen.
