My name is Justin Coffil. I am a blessed young man and very lucky to be alive today. I am a miracle and a blessing to my family for God to give me a second chance at life. In 2011, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time when I got robbed and shot in the head. A man found me on the ground and called the ambulance. I was rushed to the hospital and my mom was called and was told what had happened to me. During surgery the next day I had a stroke. It took away my ability to eat, swallow, or even brush my teeth. I haven't eaten in 6 years. I get fed through a peg tube in my stomach. It also took away my ability to walk and use my left arm and hand. I was in the hospital for 4 months. I had to learn how to walk all over again, but my left arm and hand strength never came back. I can't do anything for Myself. My mother has to bathe me and feed me every 3 hours. I'm trying to raise money to get into this rehab facility called Birmingham Alabama UAB Stroke Center which is located in Birmingham, Alabama. The cost of this facility is very expensive and my insurance doesn't cover the facility. Please have a heart and help me get my life back to normal. God Bless.
