My baby sister Denise "Neicy", who was only 49 yrs old, was taken off life support on Sept. 16th on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the day of our Lord 2018. Her suffering has ended. Neicy was a fighter, never gave up, even with all she faced. She went blind in 2013 from diabetes, she had been on dialysis 3 days a week for almost 4 yrs. She hated being blind, but she still had a loving, caring and positive attitude thru it all! Everyone who knew her, loved her, she cared so much for everyone in her life, whether it be a close friend or family member, or someone she barley knew. She would give you the shirt off of her back, not many like her left in this world...
Denise was recieving SSI for her "disabilities" her husband, Skeeter, lost his job well over a year ago, both he and their son, Adam, helped Denise with her day to day living challenges. The sole household income came from Denise's SSI, which made it impossible to save for anything, let alone burial expenses. They lived month to month on very little, unable to do anything extra, such as repairs for their mobile home, car expenses, etc. Even with all the financial hardships, she would never ask for help, she was to proud for that....
But NOW I am asking for help in her place: she would not like this too much, but I will do what has to be done to lay her to rest and help the two most important people in her life, her husband and son. While Skeeter and Adam look for jobs, now that they will no longer need to stay home to help Denise out, they will need some funds to carry them through. Especially since her SSI stops as of today. Therefore, this plea I WILL ask for my baby sister, she would do it for anyone else, and never expect anything in return.
IF you are so inclined to help my sisters family, so many who love Denise will be so very, very grateful! You see she was one in a million, her passing has made a huge hole in the lives that she touched. Now we are left to pick up the pieces, for her husband and son, learn how to go on without her :(
