Hello family and friends,
We hope all is well with you and your families! For the past 2-3 years this has been something that has been on our hearts. We really heard God tell Shane a few years ago that he wanted him to go on mission. Not only go on mission but to take his family also. As far as what that looked like, or where that would even be, we didn't know. Through the process it has been exciting to think about.
Last year as we were all away on vacation, we heard God very clearly say "now is the time". At that moment we knew we needed to start acting on that confirmation from him. Again, we had no clue what that was going to look like either. As we started to talk and join in prayer. we realized that it is not just about doing what you feel like you are being led to do, but also taking other steps in making this work.
We are stepping out in faith and asking if you would consider joining and partnering with us on this mission that we as a family would love to see happen? Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” For us the cost is not cheap.The cost of this trip will be about $9000 including airfare and passports. But, we believe that God will provide financially to make this trip happen. We believe that this will not only impact us but also you and the people if Nicaragua. If not financially, we would like to ask for prayer in making this happen and that God will speak in ways that we have never experienced.
We are excited to see what is to come in this season of our lives.....
