PURPOSE: Building a Youth Centre in Mississauga, ON
TARGET: $3000 in 2 weeks
CHALLENGE: Walking on Fire
It really isn't my strength to write creative descriptions, but here's the basic idea folks:
I need to raise funds for charity, and I need your support. Help me reach my goal and, if I reach my target, I will WALK ON FIRE. Why? To give you an idea of how crazy I am about this project. And, well, cuz it's pretty cool too. You can choose to watch this live or on YouTube once it's uploaded.
Your donations are tax deductible. Tax receipts will be issued on behalf of the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC).

MAC Youth.. Where do I start?
I remember vividly my first MAC Youth encounter since I returned to Canada for university. It was at Camp Awakening, where I got introduced to the Al-Nachawati siblings (who were admittedly pretty cool). It was, without a doubt, a life-changing experience.
And that's exactly what we aim to do, consistently and steadily - change youth's lives for the better. We each go through our set of challenges and tribulations, and through its various programs and activities, MAC Youth helps you build a network of tight relationships to help you face your challenges and always move forward.
But it's time we took the next step! We've decided it's time to build the first Youth Centre in Mississauga... Ever! A space where our youth feel safe and nurtured. A place where we can provide them with the right programming to build their character, develop their skills and make them constructive citizens. A face for our organization and mission to develop Muslim youth across Canada. It would include the following facilities:
- Youth club and lounge.
- 2 gyms
- Fitness centre
- Multi-purpose rooms
But centres don't come for free! We need to raise $2.2 million in 20 days, and that's exactly what we're trying to do.
