Happy #MotivationMonday everybody! 2 years ago when the idea of my epileptic mother and 7 siblings moving to Texas from California came about it was based on a better life & bigger opportunities! With my 2 sisters currently enrolled in my Alma Matar, Grambling State University & 3 of my younger brothers are currently working while they're in school you would think things are going great, but unfortunately their not!
Anyone that knows just a little about me understands that my family means everything & when the concept of them relocating came about, it was based on my previous employment & personal business; along with whatever aid my mother had. Well after 28 years of being on Section 8 & 20 years of government assistance my mother lost everything in August! Not only did that happen, but on October 19 I lost my full time job after 4.5 years!
After just recently relocating to a bigger place earlier that week, that same day I got fired I was able to get a vehicle for the family! I mean prior to that I went 6 months without a car and was forced riding a hover board all the time, an uber, or more than anything, my girlfriend and her family were the lead supporters!
After taken care of small bills, car notes, daily gas usage & food we don't have anything! With the denial of unemployment & waiting for my appeal to go through, the events that I've worked with my personal buisness has only allowed me so much revenue that!
I've done my best applying for jobs at the moment & building my marketing plan to promote for more business, but nothing is expeditious! I've maxed out my savings & come tomorrow at 6pm we have to MOVE OUT our current residence because of Non-Pay & have no money or no place to go! I've reached out to family members, but to them I SHOULD HAVE NEVER took on the responsibility of taking care of my family; well hey...THEY or I...had no choice!
We've resubmitted all the necessary documents for health insurance, cash aid, government housing, etc, but after 2 months we're in a worse situation then before!
At this point any monetary donation will do! ANYTHING! If you could donate a house or a room or something, or even a hotel room until we figure it out, THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING! I try to make sure their in church EVERY SUNDAY no matter what! Every morning on our way to school we all go around saying our morning prayers and I believe; our faith is strong, BUT WE NEED YOU ALL RIGHT NOW PLEASE! If you need some work or anything done we're available, but if we don't get this taken care we'll be HOMELESS!
I'm trying my best I SWEAR I AM, but this is the lowest season of our lives & we really need YOUR HELP! I mean if Keaton's mom can raise some money...can't we? God bless you all & thank you in advance!
