Rally For Ronny

   My 11 year old son, Ronny, was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, this past June. I am a single mom on an unpaid leave from work.
   My once happy, funny, active boy who loved baking, playing with friends, riding his bike, shooting baskets and playing nerf guns in the yard has quickly and drastically changed.
   You see, this type of encephalitis was brought on by a strep infection. The antibodies produced to fight his strep infection, actually attacked his brain. This caused brain swelling.
Ronny is suddenly, now tormented by extreme OCD, OCD thoughts, food restriction ( causing weight loss and fatigue), separation anxiety and panic attacks.
   My little boy can no longer participate in his favorite activities, which also includes watching tv and listening to music.
   Ronny is now being treated by specialists, which are likely to include daily doctor visits into Boston. He also receives in home therapy.
   The progression of this disease has required me to take an unpaid leave from work. This is especially difficult as I am a single mom to Ronny and his older brother, Evan, who is 13 years old.
  My savings have been exhausted and medical costs are increasing. The financial stress adds to the anxiety of watching my little boy bravely struggle with this illness. Thank you, in advance, for any financial help and prayers for healing that you can offer my son.
