Help Sara Recover From Hit & Run

Early in the morning on September 8th, 2013, Sara was riding her bike home from hanging with friends when she was suddenly hit by a car and knocked to the ground. It turned into a hit & run and she was rushed to Jefferson hospital. At this point, she has suffered a fractured shoulder and jaw, as well as a severe head laceration and multiple cuts and bruises. Her jaw will need to be wired shut for a time and while her shoulder doesn't require surgery, she will be confined to a sling for the next several weeks. This doesn't bode well as she works primarily on tips and may be out of work for a time while she recovers.

Sara has a big heart and is always there to help a friend in need whenever they need it. This is not something that we want her, let alone anyone to suffer through without the support of her family and friends. Due to her inability to work for a couple weeks, she will have to struggle to pay medical bills as well as living expenses. We will support her in every way we can while she pulls through this, but anything that can help her cause will be greatly appreciated.
