Transplant help

My name is Christine Smith I was born with kidney disease
.after 6 years on dialysis I got a second chance at life when an amazing human being donated a kidney. Unfortunately the kidney was damaged so started dialysis again in June. I dreaded waiting for a second kidney as it had taken 6 years to get the first one. It turns out that I don't have to wait! My amazing sister in law Nicola-lile Smith wanted to get tested to see if she could donate and unbelievably she is a match for me and agreed to donate one of her kidneys to me. It has been an unbelievable whirlwind and with such a short span, I don't have the time (surgery is next week) to have a fundraiser like I did in the past. It's very expensive going through this and will be a struggle. I have to stay in Pittsburgh for a week and time off work is a big financial strain. Plus all the medical bills and antirejection medicine I will need. This is an amazing gift my sister in law is giving me. There are no words to describe how blessed I am to have her in my life and she is sacrificing a lot to do this for me but will also have expenses that need to be covered.
