My name is Jacqueline Rocio Olguin, and I am a Dreamer. My parents immigrated to the United States when I was two hoping that I would have a better life than they did. Despite the fact that both my parents only completed elementary school education has always been a priority in my household. I was the valedictorian of my grammar school class, and I recently graduated with the number one rank from Bentito Juarez Community Academy. Now, I am enrolled in the honors program at Saint Xavier University. I understand that because of my undocumented status completing my post-secondary education will be difficult, but I am a fighter. I have challenged myself with always being the best that I can be, and I have always met those challenges. I am determined to overcome any challenges that lay ahead in college and beyond, but I need your help.
