Harper Saunders is a happy, sweet little three year old girl from Woodstock, NB.
She was recently diagnosed with Acute Lympoblastic Leukemia. She will soon have further testing (bone marrow biospy and a spinal tap) to tell more about the type of treatment she will need to beat this cancer. At this point we do know that she will need to have aggressive treatment over the next 6 months. Her doctors are estimating that the entire treatment will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. Most of which will need to be done at the IWK Hospital in Halifax, NS. We hope in time that she might be able to receive some of the treatments in Fredericton (about an hour from home).
As you can imagine, the stress of having a sick child alone would be difficult for any parent to handle. Like most young families, the financial expenses are difficult enough without adding the additional expenses that will be required over the next two and half years.
Any amount that you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated by Harper, her mother Reba, Daddy Nick & Daddy Robbie.
